In case your policlinic time is not suitable for you, we kindly ask you to contact your study nurse on Mon – Wed 07.30-08.00. At other times you can leave a message in an answering machine, tel.03 – 3116 5663. If your address has changed, please inform us by telephone or by mail (addresses mentioned above).
ARRIVAL IN THE CLINIC
When coming to a policlinic with your child, bring:
- Letter of invitation / card of appointment
- Kela card for the child (Sickness Insurance card)
- Child health clinic card
- Nutritional research forms
If your child catches feverish infection (or for example diarrhea or chickenpox) before policlinic visit, be kind and contact the study nurse. Chickenpox is an easily catching disease and it may be dangerous for other children in the department.
It’s not necessary to sign in after arriving in the clinic; a study nurse will pick you up from a waiting room. A study visit is free of charge.
When taking blood samples, we use numbing cream. It makes taking of samples painless.
TRANSPORTATION
Buses numbered 5, 6, 11, 16, 17, 28, 32, 38, and 41 drive to the hospital area. However the best transportation option is to the the tram number 1, which stops near the hospital’s main entrance.

PARKING PLACES AND PARKING FEES
There’s a free parking area for four cars in front of the Finn-Medi 3 building. These parking spaces are located just next to the main entrance and are marked with DIPP sign. Other parking areas close to the hospital are subject to a fee. Remember to reserve money for parking. There is also a parking garage in the Tays Central Hospital area.
